(Cremations)

The Lynn Haven Police Department's Division of Animal Control has implemented a new program to assist individuals who wish to cremate the remains of their pet. The program is intended to enhance compliance to city code 10-42 (Registration of dogs and cats) while offering a valuable free service to the citizens of Lynn Haven. Upon the death of your animal you may transport the animal to the Lynn Haven Animal Shelter. (Assistance with transportation may be provided for those in need.)

You have two options for the remains of your pet. You can decide to have your animal cremated and receive the remains after cremation, or not.

The fees associated with this program are:

• Lynn Haven Resident with dog/cat registered (In accordance to MO. 10-42):

Cremation / No Remains Returned-	Free
Cremation / Private with Remains Returned to Owner-	Free

• Lynn Haven Resident with dog/cat not registered:

  Cremation / No Remains Returned-	30.00
  Cremation / Private with Remains Returned to Owner-	50.00

• Non - Lynn Haven Resident:

  Cremation / No Remains Returned-	30.00
  Cremation / Private with Remains Returned to Owner-	50.00
