CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD

The Lynn Haven Code Enforcement Board held a regular meeting on
12/19/02
December 19, 2002 at 7:00 PM at City Hall.
PRESENT:
James Griffin
Sharon Sheffield
John McCrory
David Adams
ABSENT:
Doug Darnell
Carolyn Swenson
Claude Mixdorf
James Griffin called the Code Enforcement Board meeting to order at
7:05 p.m.
The minutes from the October 17, 2002 meeting were approved.
John McCrory made a motion for James Griffin to be Board Chair.
Sharon Sheffield seconded the motion.
Motion passed.
Sharon Sheffield made a motion for Doug Darnell to be appointed as
Co-Chairman of the board.
David Adams seconded the motion.
Motion passed.
Sgt. Reeder introduced the new Code Enforcement Officer, John
Colosetti to the board.
Request for board member to serve on Citizen of Year Committee.
Sharon Sheffield volunteered to be the representative for the Code
Enforcement Board.
Discussion on possible rescheduling of Code Enforcement Board
meeting to quarterly.
Discussion tabled until the City Attorney is
consulted.
It was decided to have the City Attorney come and give a workshop
regarding duties of board members, process of hearings, etc. possibly
prior to the next scheduled board meeting in February.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:15 p.m.
