COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MINUTES
AUGUST 11, 2009 - 3:30 P.M.

The CRA Board held a regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at 3:30 p.m. in the Commission Meeting Room at City Hall.

Mayor Kelley called the meeting to order.

Item #2. Approval of minutes from July 14, 2009:

Motion by Commissioner Schad: To approve as presented.

Item #3. Consideration and approval of list of “eligible architects” for the Storefront Assistance Program: The CRA Board approved in 2004 the Storefront Design Guidelines which include the Storefront Assistance Program. In order to qualify for this program, applicants must select an architect from a “list of eligible architects”. This list is comprised of architects who have been preselected based upon their understanding and experience with historically appropriate architectural design. CRA staff posted an RFQ in that regard; eight (8) architects submitted their applications:

Collins & Associates, Inc.
DAS/Dennis Evans
FLAGALA Design Build, Inc.
Goodwyn, Mills & Cawood, Inc.
Russell A. Johnson
The Associates, LLC

Staff recommends approval of the proposed applicants as presented.

Motion by Commissioner Schad: To approve the eight “eligible architects” list as presented.
Second to the motion: Commissioner Wittkopf.
