"Arson is NOT a Victimless Crime."

Arson Tips

Report suspicious activity near homes, businesses and other buildings. Support Neighborhood Watch Programs in your communities.

Keep leaves and flammable debris away from buildings. Don't make it easy for an arsonist to start a fire or facilitate a fires spread to adjacent buildings.

Store all flammable liquids such as; paints, gasoline, and mowers in an approved storage location: locked cabinets, locked storage units, and locked garages (prevent access to children).

If you suspect a child is setting fires, notify the proper authorities. It may not be "just a phase" they are going through. Keep matches and lighters out of reach and out of sight of young children.

Contact your local fire or police department if you know or suspect an arson crime.
