Supervisor of the Quarter

Howard Steele, with Leisure Services, has been chosen as Supervisor of the Quarter.

Employee of the Month

Charles Green, with Leisure Services, has been selected as Employee of the Month.


Firefighter of the Year

Michael Cypher has been selected as the Lynn Haven Firefighter of the Year.


Police Officer of the Year

Investigator Jason Smith has been selected as the Lynn Haven Police Officer of the Year.



Adult League Basketball Registration

Register your team the entire month of February. (MAX 12 players/ $325 per team)

Our adult league is VERY competitive! Be prepared to bring your best game. The 2012 season will run March-May. All games are played at the Lynn Haven Community Center Gym.

Lynn Haven Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) Report Available

In accordance with Section 163.356(3)(c), Florida Statutes, the fiscal year 2009/2010 annual report for the Lynn Haven CRA has been filed with the City Clerk and is available for inspection online at http://cityoflynnhaven.com/cra/resources.htm.

Bay County Economic Development Public Funding and Activity Report

The Bay County Economic Development Alliance (EDA) is a public-private partnership comprised of Bay County and the Cities of Panama City, Lynn Haven and Callaway; Panama City-Bay County Airport and Industrial District; Port Panama City Port Authority; Gulf Coast Workforce Board; Bay County Chamber of Commerce; Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce; and 20 private businesses and education providers.

FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Maps

The new Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Flood Insurance Rate Maps for the City were adopted by the City Commission in June, 2009.
