CITY OF LYNN HAVEN
SPECIAL CITY COMMISSION MEETING
APRIL 21, 2004 - 12:00 P.M.
The Lynn Haven City Commission held a special meeting on Wednesday, April 21, 2004, beginning at 12:07 p.m. in the Commission Meeting Room at City Hall.
Present:
Mayor Walter T. Kelley
Roger P. Schad, Mayor Pro Tem/Commissioner
Commissioner Antonius G. Barnes
Commissioner Harold Haynes
Commissioner Frances Wittkopf
City Manager John B. Lynch
City Attorney Robert Jackson
Assistant Police Chief Dennis Kiah
Mayor Kelley called the meeting to order and Commissioner Barnes gave the Invocation. The Pledge of Allegiance followed.
Item #3. Announcement of Election results of 4/20/04:
Mayor Kelley asked the City Attorney to announce the results. The results of the 4/20/04 Election were as follows:

Item #4. Motion to certify Election results:
Motion by Commissioner Schad: To certify the results of the 4/20/04 City Election as presented.
Second to the motion: Commissioner Haynes
On Vote:
Schad: aye
Wittkopf: aye
Haynes: aye
Barnes: aye
Kelley: aye Motion passed 5-0
Item #5. Administer Oaths of Office:
Mayor Kelley passed the gavel to Mayor Pro-Tem Schad for the remainder of the meeting. City Attorney Jackson administered the Oaths of Office to Mayor Kelley, Commissioner Barnes and Commissioner Wittkopf.
Item #6. Comments by incumbent Mayor and Commissioners:
Commissioner Wittkopf thanked her family and friends for their support and confidence in re-electing her to office. She stated she is looking forward to the next two years.
Commissioner Barnes thanked his family and the citizens and voters who came out and supported him. He stated he feels the City is on the right track.
Mayor Kelley thanked Lynn Haven for putting the trust in him again to be the Mayor for the next two years. He stated it has been a privilege to serve for the past six years. He also thanked his family for being by his side.
Commissioner Haynes welcomed the incumbents back into office.
There was no further business to discuss and the meeting was adjourned at 12:16 p.m.
