Joe Shenko- Employee of the Month February 2008 Joe Shenko has been employed by the City as a Utility Service Worker since February 20, 2006. Joe maintains and operates 65 sanitary lift stations on a daily basis in addition to assisting with repairs at the Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant and two potable Water Plants. He has the knowledge and skills needed to properly operate and maintain the City’s wastewater collection systems and the ability to analyze and solve problems when they occur. In order to keep pace with advancing technology in the field of wastewater collection, Joe has successfully completed the EPA approved home-study training program, “Operation and Maintenance of Wastewater Collection Systems” administered through the California State University, Sacramento, California. Joe is a tireless worker who takes pride in paying attention to detail and is well deserving of Lynn Haven Employee of the month. |
