Communications Center

The Communications Section is the center for the Lynn Haven Police Department and is responsible for all in-coming calls for service via 911, Telephone, walk-in and teletype. Two highly qualified Communications Officers (dispatchers), certified by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, are on duty each shift. They are responsible for dispatching Police, Fire and Animal Control as well as City Crews for after hour emergencies. These Communication Officers operate and maintain a Computer Aided Dispatch system which tracks all department activity, as well as the State and National Computer System. In 2007 this section handled approximately 30,000 calls for service.

Lynn Haven Police Dispatch radio frequencies are 453.162, 453.412, 453.687, and 460.112 MHz. Fire Dispatch is on runs on 154.2350 MHz.
