The Department of Community Affairs reviews amendments to the Comprehensive Plan. If the Department finds the reviewed amendment to be in compliance a notice is sent to the City. The Department's notice of intent to find a plan amendment in compliance is deemed to be a final order if no timely petition challenging the amendment is filed within 21 days after the publication of the notice pursuant to Section 163.3184(9), F.S. Also per Section 163.3184(8)(c)2 requires that the Notice must be posted to the City's Internet site after the receipt of the mailed copy.

A copy of the adopted City of Lynn Haven Comprehensive Plan Amendment, and the Notice of Intent must be available for public inspection Monday through Friday, except legal holidays, during normal business hours at City Hall, 825 Ohio Ave., Lynn Haven, Florida.
